A not so merry view of Christmas as a place on the wheel of the year's turning. Hopefully, though, the reader will see the ray of light.

OK. Kill me now! I loved the author's succinct and pithy style. We all aspire to something different but all life dishes out is more of the same unless you are prepared to go out on a limb and get it for yourself. Excellent observation of the reality of life for the majority of people.

A great summing up of the year like this as its so true to life

Blimey! How the year goes so quickly when it is written like that. The author has expressed a vibrant, quick and quirky lifestyle, that is true to most of us. But, like he said— it’s all for the kids! The cogs keep turning, nothing changes and around we go again. So true.

A true depiction of Capitalism, methinks! And control by the big corporations.

Cynicism at it's best! It comes with age and all those joyful children (the ones we do it for) will join us in just a few more turns of the wheel.
