It's the 1960's in Stevenage New Town, metal detectors have just arrived and everyone is looking to get rich quick! 7K words, humorous and exciting!

A nice little story! I'm duly impressed with the colloquial speech, and the general pace of the humour had me chuckling to myself more than on one occasion. I 'm looking forward to reading more stories on here by this author hopefully. Certainly a name that I shall be looking out for on the annals of Amazon and the like in the future! The 'sting-in-the-tail' wasn't wasted on me either, with 'Shetland' being recompensed handsomely for his efforts, whilst the others were 'ripped-off' and duped by Harry. (Very Roald Dahl, 'Tales of the Unexpected! ....)

"Still a great read, I reckon! Really like the 'twist in the tail' ….."

A good yarn about treasure hunting - always a good story line. Nicely written without any unnecessary forays into grandiose words . An enjoyable read thank you,
